Run to 2022 5K Time Change Update

Out of an abundance of caution and with consultation with city officials, the Run to 2022 5K team has decided to change the event start time to 7:30 AM instead of 4:45 PM on 1/15/2022. For the same reason, the Children's 1.5K Run has been canceled.

This decision follows a recommendation by CCPD as pedestrian and vehicle traffic would be too heavy along the 5K route during the previously scheduled time. The heavy traffic would have made the protection of event participants too difficult to guarantee. Following this recommendation and consultation with other city officials, the Run to 2022 5K team has decided to take the actions outlined above.
